Big Phonale - A Daily Prompt Post

Hey, let’s make this a hat trick of Daily Prompt posts! Okay? Okay – watch me pull a rabbit out of… wait, what? A hat trick is three of something? I see. Thanks.

Describe your relationship with your phone. Is it your lifeline, a buzzing nuisance, or something in between?

My phone – how to describe… I love her. She’s amazing. She’s everything to me! I want to make lo…..ng distance calls on her. I mean, it.  I like my phone, but it’s always on vibrate. I never really bothered with a ring tone (though it’s set to Infuse Into by the Gazette), because I never have it ring. I take it around with me, and I feel naked without it, but I really only use it for 1) texting Mrs. Hotspur; 2) using my WordPress app (!); and 3) a whole lot of other stuff, but I bet you would have been surprised if I only had three actual things here, huh? My phone slices and dices! It stays crunchy, even in milk! It goes well with red wine! It grates cheese in seconds! It can cut a 2×4 and still shave thin slices of prosciutto thin enough to see through! It can call the Space Station! It can see through lead! It enables me to fly and teleport! It’s amazing!

But it’s annoying, too. 3 entities are always calling me on it – 3 telemarketers who somehow broke the Do Not Call Registry code of ethics. I can’t stand that. So I guess it’s something in between, but WAYYYYYY closer to lifeline.
