This week, I have a song I wrote for my wife, and played. I was going to record myself playing and singing it, but… no. I recorded myself just singing it, but without music it seems off. Anyway, here it is.

Without A Word

I can still taste your smile
On my lips
I can still feel your skin
On my fingertips
I can still make you scream
With a single touch
But girl, you can make me sing
About us

I can’t stop thinking about you
You’re always on my mind
You’re always in my head
Making me want to go back to bed
I can’t stop thinking about you
What you do to me
And I just wanted to thank you
Nonverbally

I can still see that look
In your eyes
I can still feel that tingling
Deep inside
I can still smell your perfume
On my chest
But girl, you can make me think
Of being undressed

I can’t stop thinking about you
You’re always on my mind
You’re always in my head
Your eyes keep pulling me back to bed
I can’t stop thinking about you
What you do to me
And I just wanted to thank you
Nonverbally

I can still see your face
You know what I mean
I can still close my eyes
Live in a dream
I can still hold you close
It feels so right
But girl, I can’t stop thinking
About last night

No I can’t stop
Thinking about you
No I can’t stop

I can’t stop thinking about you
You’re always on my mind
You’re always in my head
Making me want to go back to bed
I can’t stop thinking about you
What you do to me
And I just wanted to thank you
Nonverbally
