Scenes From A Morning Drive (British Mix)

It’s another Scenes From A Morning Drive! I haven’t done one of these in a long  time – but this time, it’s a little different. I shot a video! And for some reason, I spoke in this voice… Well, you’ll just have to listen. This is the path I take to work on the highway every day. I skipped the ‘house down past the Greene to the highway’ portion of my trip, not for any special reason, but because I didn’t start thinking of this until I got next to the Greene, and didn’t have the camera on until the entrance ramp.

Well, you’re going to let me know what you think. So go ahead. What are you waiting for?

  1. Because what could possibly go wrong when filming while driving? It’s true, thanks to the interstate system, you can drive cross country and not see a damn thing.

I can’t believe you skipped the Greene. Don’t you know that’s the only reason I check out these Scenes?

    • Well, as it happens, I plan on literally walking around the Greene a few times during the holidays, possibly interviewing people. I might do a dry run soon. And I will definitely do one from the edge of my driveway or something in the next couple of weeks.

  2. Two thoughts (which is pretty difficult for me to put together):
    1) I think it was a lorry (truck) you passed on the edge of the highway
    2) If you can tape a mirror onto your car & you carry an extra roll of tape in the eventuality it falls off again, why couldn’t you tape your camera to the steering wheel so you could get better shots & drive more safely?
Try as hard as I might I could not read the road signs, so I couldn’t tell which state you’re in. As an aside, your road signs look just like our signs in Alberta. You also pass under a lot of bridges or overpasses on your way to work, don’t you?
