18 August 2011 - I'm Allowed To Do This

I passed an anniversary of sorts, but just a technical one. The technical first post on this blog, the auto post when you sign up, was on 11 June 2011. I don’t consider that the start of the blog though. I had another post in June, but that was my version of an About page before I figured out there could be an About page. I don’t consider that the start either.

I had two posts in July, and I don’t consider either of those the true start of this blog. No, the day I consider the start of this blog is 18 August 2011. That’s the day I started posting on a regular basis. I had a dozen posts that month, and that’s not bad. I also started the Scenes From A Morning Drive on 27 August 2011. That was a good month.

So, in case someone noticed anything about my blog in terms of anniversaries, I consider 18 August 2011 the anniversary date of this blog. My first comment, again aside from Mr. WordPress, was from J. Seabiscuit on 27 August 2011 at 5:10 am on Marriage, Love and Understanding. And a mere 4 hours later, on 27 August 2011 at 9:38 am Hellis commented on the first Scenes From A Morning Drive: Part 1 – Tales From Typographical Errors. I already knew J. Seabiscuit, so Hellis was the first complete stranger ever to comment on my blog. Boy, was she creepy. Kidding!

Over the past year, I’ve had search terms galore from people finding my blog, but the top 20 search terms are – well, okay, I’m going down quite far because some terms are so similar, so I’ll go down to 20 times a search term:
